IL State Requirements
- Clinical full-time professional experience: 3000 hours (graduate degree) 2000 hours (doctorate degree)
- Supervision must occur 4 hours per month, on average
- Based on individual needs and can include case consultation, clinical discussions, resource sharing, and test-preparation
- 2 Year clinical full-time professional experience (including internship experiences for doctoral students)
- 3,360 hours of clinical experience total, 1,920 hours of face-to-face clinical services: “One year of experience shall be a maximum of 1680 clock hours obtained in not less than 48 weeks, including 960 clock hours of direct face-to-face service to clients.”
- Supervision must occur at least 1 hour per week
